Hello, I was interested in joining a clan and found that yours looked far better than any of the others available. I was impressed by your strict rules and if your forums represent your gameplay it looks like you are an organized, teamwork based group of people.
My history with FPS is not bad. I played America's Army more than 1/2 a year ago, and got pretty good at it. However, I got a new graphics card and went back to play Planetside, the "mmofps". It heavily promoted teamwork, as you could respawn indefinately and there were no "servers" or "games". It was one large world where you could strike certain bases and continents strategically. I was in one of the most prestigous outfits available, Reborn Light (http://www.rebornlight.org). We didn't have a ton of members, but nearly every single one of the best CR5s (Command Rank 5s, a rank to show leadership) had passed through the outfit at one point or another, and we had several members on the Top Ten lists for our East Coast world, Emerald. I am Battle Rank 23, the highest battle rank, and I had just started to build up my Command Rank when I was forced to unsubscribe (it had a monthly fee). I did not have sniping at the time I quit, but I had nearly completed the Sniping Merit, and let's just say the sniping in Planetside left something to be desired.... you couldn't even go prone.
I do not have references from within the DoW operation, however I'm sure that if you checked me out you wouldn't be displeased. I am energetic and I like to joke around, but when it's time I know when to shut up and take orders. I have the Adv. Marksman training of course, and I am a CLS, so I can heal teamates. Right now I am only at 18 honor but that should change now that I've started playing again. I have to admit that my only experience with real combat is drawn out paintball games in the woods of my friend Steve's house, but I've played enough First Person Shooters to know how to always be vigilant, and watch my flank.
I have heard you get a lot of applications, but I hope you'll consider me, I'd like to play with you to show my willingness to follow orders and ability to listen. I have ventrillo and a microphone, I will download teamspeak if you accept my application. I have had past experience with Voice Software in Planetside, which was a lightening fast game where text was too slow for front-line information.
