Hat's off to our ground troops. If they tell you we have 50 fallen man and woman in battle it's just a number nothing meaningful behind it but the names of all the fallen service man and woman does hit me hard. It could be anyone my friends or anyone I know.

Thank you all :anim_mar:

Ace:

You did a wonderful job with this memorial. I am sitting here reading all those names and that tune is so haunting it has brought tears to my eyes.

No I won't forget our brothers and sisters who have made the greatest sacrifice ever. I am only glad that there weren't more names.

Perhaps there should be a permanent place in DoW for this memorial, lest we not forget.

I don't know how I missed this when it was first posted, and all I can say is: WOW
Suddenly I don't feel that "former-bad-ass-sergeant" I still carry inside my head, even after being away from the army for 12 years.

Off corse I read about these young brave men and women from The United States, who is risking their lives every day in Iraq, but when reading about it, its only words. But I must admit, that when this page opened and the music started, it made me realise, that I am actually playing with "these men and women" almost every day....... and it made me feel honoured!
I don't know if this sounds completely stupid to you guys, but right now I wish I was an american soldier, who was send out to make a difference, and in that way pay back what we ow you!!

God bless you all! HOAH

Dead or alive, the soldiers of the United States and our partners are proud to serve for our countries, and thankful that there are people out there in the world that truly appreciate what we are facing. To all my fallen brethren, thank you and God's speed to the promised land. To all those still fighting...shoot, move, communicate, but watch your six at all times. To the families and friends of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice, nothing I say can make the pain and loneliness any better. Know only that they died for something that they believed to be more important then life. They fought to protect you...your rights, your lifestyles, your very lives. They will always be with us in one way or another, but don't ever let their memories or sacrifices be forgotten or taken for granted. Their sacrifice can serve for all time to prove that there are things worth fighting for, even dying for, and that we will always find a way to succeed when defending those beliefs.
