Well, it's been a long long long time since I've wandered around to here. I'm sure everyone has enjoyed the massive lack of spamming. I do hope that someone else has stepped up to be the most annoying person on the forums.

So word on the street (the street being the hallway between my room and PJ's room) is that people think I left for FS. Hehe, that tickles me. Let's make this clear, I have NOT gone to FS. Heck, I haven't played AA since like early last spring. Between school and work over this past summer I haven't had time to play any video games. It's a bit unfortunate, but I don't mind because it seems that video games no longer fall within my realm of interests.

There is something I would definitely like to apologize for. At some point this summer I should have formally came by the forums and resigned from my post here at -=DoW=- instead of just fading away and allowing the powers that be to remove me. Resigning would have been the gracious thing to do and I am truly sorry for not having done so.

I'll do my best to make an effort and stop by from time to time to give an update of what's going on with me to anyone who may be interested, and to double check that all is well with everyone. In the mean time, PJ can be my cute little proxy.

But yeah, quick little update: It's my senior year here at Northwestern University (for those of you who don't know where that is, it's located in Evanston IL). I'm close to finishing up my degree in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Biomechanics and Rehabilitation along with Transport Processing and Tissue Engineering. God knows what all that adds up to, but apparently I've learned it. Life after graduating is still up in the air, but so far the plan is to find a job somewhere in the Biomedical industry and after a few years I'd like to head back to school to get an MBA.

Anyways, take care everyone. Hopefully I'll see you all around.

Hey! I never resigned! That's what I was apologizing for. I got removed for inactivity, understandably. What I was saying was that I shouldn't have allowed so much time to go by to cause my removal through inactivity. I think I've been removed from -=DoW=- for a little while now. Ace might be able to attest for that...maybe? So yeah, this isn't a goodbye post, this is more of a "Hey what's up? It's been a while" post.

I would love continued membership in this wonderful clan, but I also know that I really don't have the time to give honest dedication to it. Thus I understand my loss of the -=DoW=- Tag.

But yeah, I'll wander around from time to time. Now that I've made a few posts it's like I've taken a few hits of a drug that I used to be addicted to. So we'll see if I relapse into spamming again. In which case "time to time" might end up being more frequent than you guys would probably like. :)

Good to hear from you, Panda. Good luck at NW, and with everything else. I will be attempting to gain admission there once I finish my Bachelor's. I want to get into the Prosthetist and Orthotist program there. Drop by and keep us updated, and we will see ya around.

It's great to hear from all of you and thanks for your support.

Boba, it's awesome that you're interested in being a Prosthetist and Orthotist! That means you'll be working heavily in the Biomedical Engineering department and probably with many of my professors. In fact, one of my concentrations (Biomechanics and Rehabilitation) deals heavily with prosthetics. I've taken several classes in the mechanics of limbs and next quarter I'll be taking a class called "Human Limbs and their Artificial Replacements" which focuses on the various designs and mechanics of limb prosthetics. Many of the Biomaterials classes that I've taken have dealt heavily with the designs for various prosthetics from more of a materials stand point (such as what polymer/metal/ceramic/etc. would be useful in making a prosthetic limb). Good luck with getting in and let me know if you're interested or need any information on the Biomedical department here.
