Not happy that we lost a DoW server(s) to this other game but it's birdy's call...his machine.

Sorry but until retail comes out, I don't think I will play RS...and by the sounds of it, it doesn't sound like it plays like AA. You probably wouldn't miss me playing that game anyway on your server. :?

On the GOOD side, it has pistols! :roll: That will get rid of some of the Riff-raff ex-CS players that whine about pistols and shotguns for AA. :twisted: Thank god someone made them a game to play with. They will be surprised however that the DEV team there isn't going to be giving sitreps or as accessable as the AA Dev team is. :lol:

I sure do miss dow servers, right now we only have dow 1 to play at:

But as much as i understand its Birddogs decision to have a server for any game he wishes, as much i dont like the Raven Shield Server on his machine, being called dow server.

All of us make a big deal about false dow tags people are using, but our own members are misusing the tag as well.

Maybe he was given the right from battalion command to do that, then well its not my decision, but if not, i would really like battalion command to think about this.

My opinion on it.

Noone ever said that -=DoW=- was a one game only clan. :)

I started my online adventrue playing Rouge Spear, then Urban Warfare..Got tired of that and moved on to EverQuest. Played Everquest for 4 years.. (Still Play it some nights.) Still have 6 accounts that I pay for on Everquest (ouch that's over $600 a year just on Everquest, damn). and 3 in DAoC).

Play with a 100 person guild in everquest btw... www.exarch.net
Played Everquest and Darkages of Camelot, until they nerf'd DAoC so bad that it was no longer fun.

So here we are at AA.

Hell, If I wanted to -=DoW=- could be everquest, darkages of camelot, RS, Aa, etc..

Open your horizon's, AA will not last forever.

Sidenote:

I am sorta pissed that I D/L Raven-Shield, go to run it, and all I get is a solid black screen. With noway to escape out of it but hit the reset button...

a lot of people have had that problem on the RvS boards, trying a new set of video card drivers fixed the problem for most. I am running the 40.72 detonator drivers (WHQL).

I had Apache, php, perl, cgi, mysql, and about 20 other web devlp tools running as a service that i forgot about :).

Shut those donw and wrks fine
