Screen Shots

I know this is a stupid question, but how do you take screen shots? Is there is a program you have to use. How do you do video?

I think F9 by default is the one for screenshots, but there are some other programs out there that are more customizable. FRAPS i think is one, which is on the FTP server.

As for video, i cant get mine to work very well, so maybe someone else can help you out in that department.

Tat, I disabled an option for screenshots in the game, cause when you want get a lot of pictures it's making delay in process of the play. So I'm using "SnagIt 6", nice prog, not a difficult for settings.

About a video, I think you can ask Acedeal or Ds, or Snipe U 2. maybe more :)

I got some kinda prog of the DoW FTP and it works pretty good, can't remember the name, it is the on in the same folder as FRAPS but not FRAPS.

Also, if in admin mode, and you need to take a screen shot with the commandpost open f-9 will not work, you have to type

Ok, I know how to make screen shots and vid clips. How the heck to I keep the file size down. I made a 42sec clip of Gatkee and it was 558megs.

you don't but you can convert it down with a program called VirtualDub, or Windows Movie Maker

In WMM import video (fraps capture) and it will split it into multiple vids.
create your vid
save as....
I usually set it to fit in under 10MB
