Ladies and gentlemen, this has most probably been brought up before but I'm going to bring it up again.

Xfire!

Xfire, for those of you who dont know, is very like gamespy or qtracker or that type of program.

Xfire does the following: Tracks when friends are logged on, what game they are playing and what server. Tracks which server you are playing it on, then puts it in "recently played" catagory so if you like it you can find it again later. Server can be added to "favorites" so that you can join them easily any time. Launches game and connects to server. Shows you your friends favorite servers.

I STRONGLY encourage EVERYONE to get it. It makes finding friends and servers VERY easy.

The log on screen wants a no Uppercase Name and I want to be ________ my obvious!!!

Anyone see if I am doing wrong or being much too dense as

-=dow=-furious32

is not the TAG!!!

Furious your account name can't have uppercase. Just put your nickname as you wish it displayed. So there. You can do it...

Example. My account name is allessir

But as you see it....nickname is Allessir

I am with Furious I tried to use it & it would not let me be who I am so I ditched it
I want to be me with my tag also ,Not what they say or want (Xfire pants :erter: )
Pro's use HLSW or Qtracker these also allow the bad name list as well as buddies for when admining in game :)

It won't let you use the full tag, so I used dowbulldozer

So how do you find your buddies if they dont have a tag ??

If I try to join, It wants me to to do the dow thing like dozer but there are other clans
with dow so if they all do it how do you track them.
With Qtracker all I do is put in the tag & if that dont work for all reg'd servers
I just go to AAtracker for official whats up with that it works great..

hey that is the log in name sheesh lol when u get past that you can make it upper case on the display name this is the name everyone sees as me -=DoWc=- *Johnson*

lol man i cant belive you guys gave up so easy. go to tools>options> the it says nickname right there :D <--

Johnson is right, you can make your name with the tag, you just have to do it as a nickname. AFTER you sign up, you go to the options and you add the tag, thats the name everyones sees.
