My friend logged on as me and did some teamkilling a while ago and I cant get on all of the servers. This is bad because I just put in an application for -=DoW=-. What should I do to boost it so I dont have to create a new person with my name?

thanx for the thought but its not a bot. My friend was over and he killed two teammates in a frag accident. I know I could make a new account with my name but I got pretty far in the training. I may just go ahead and do it.

What is it about all these people that share accounts ???
Can they not make their own game name???

If you allow someone to use your game account (name) then you are responsible for their actions..

I know for a fact, that you can have 1 account and many names.. Made like 15 names with the -=DoW=- Acedeal tag trying to figure out how to get rid of that _ it puts in your name when you log on to the game..

( If it's your account, then it does not matter if your father, brother, sister, mom, priest, etc plays your main account, as far as we are concerned... You and only you were behind the keyboard..)

I suggest that anyone reading this, make muti-game names for your friends, relatives, etc....

Make them spend the 15 mins it takes to complete basic, and then maybe we'd have less of these "So-Called Accidents"......

Sometimes when people tk or do something wrong and get called to the mat doing it...the excuse used is..."My brother..or..My friend was using my account and I did not know."
This is a lame excuse if you ask me. We don't live at your house so how are we supposed to know if you are telling a lie and just trying to cover your rear. If you don't want to create a bad name for yourself..Don't tell anyone your password for your account and for your computer log on.
It is not ( in my opinion ) -=DoW=- responsibility to manage your computer and make sure your so called "friends" or "family members" mess up your name on AAO.
NO EXCUSE...just my :2_cents: :2_cents: on this subject.

Dear Soy,

This is why we do not care who did what while using your system.

99.9% of the time, those excuses are just that, excuses, lies, 1/2 truths.....

Please Explain why your Application to -=DoW=- says your 22, yet on the forums here it shows you are 17..?

Did someone fill out an application for you, or did they register on the forums as you??

Its nothing to do with passwords. If you log in, then quit the application, you are still logged in and as soon as the application is started again it would be with your account. What makes things worse is you can not logout, you can only change the user!

I have nothing against TKs,it happens,just ask me about it.But when you say another one have used your game name too,it pisses me off.Rule no 1.Never let anyone else play from your computer,cause you dont know,if there has been a bot installed,and that is so bad especially when you are in a clan or applaying for one :cry:

It still is his responsibility...I remove my password every time I log out of AAO..I have a 14, 13, 11 and a 9 year old in my house. Do you think for one instant I am going to let them play on my account? It has everything to do with passwords. And I fully understand about sharing a computer...I share mine with 5 other people...I don't let them into AAO unless they are supervised and even then..I let DoW know they are playing on my computer with a different name...Yo can change the user or leave that field empty...In my book it is the responsibility of the user to safeguard his or her account by whatever tactics he or she deems fit..( he fades, he shoots...... and scores! )

And to whom ever else it might concern.
Open your user.ini file and go to where it says:

[AGP.HumanController]
UserName="UserName"
UserPassword=123456

Delete the password and save the file next right click on the icon and go to properties and select read only.

Now the game can’t save your pass and you have fewer worries

Mschadt, once you do that wouldn't you have to enter your password and login everytime you started up America's Army then? since it would not be saved.

I think that is the point :)

Awwww.... i see, that would be somewhat a pain in the butt but better than others getting on your account and getting you banned. Lucky im the only one in the family that knows how to run a computer (aside from e-bay and e-mail and MSN messenger [sister]) so i will just leave mine as is, but that is a good suggestion for these people with multi-AAusers
