I was wanting to make a music video of AA gameplay. How could I do so? WHat programs do you guys/girls recommend?

I use this www.fraps.com
I think its the best and easy to use.

Set your fraps for 15fps. you'll also need VirtualDub since a 1.5 minute vid is about 1.4gb from fraps capture...

Can you PM me with some tips for VirtualDub whn you have a chance... the docs are so-so and i need to shrink some captures without losing too much quality...

so i just DL it and then install it read directions and then start recording?

yeah something like that, but i still can't get mine to record properly on aa, works fine with Q3 Arena

Another one you can try is Cam Studio (http://www.rendersoftware.com/products/camstudio/)
it's not as simplistic as farps but it has a few more settings to get things just right. The down side is it takes a bit of trial and error to get right.

lol i downloaded that cam studio, right clicked on that file and hit install, but i have no idea where to locate the lauch file??? got any ideas?

On mine it's at C:\Program Files\CamStudio\Recorder.exe
I also have it in the start menu.

If you can’t find it you might have got a corrupt download.
