Just thought I'd come by and say hi. I'm not sure who remembers me and who doesn't, but nevertheless I'm sorry it has been such a long time since I've stopped by the forums. I miss terribly playing with you all; it was a lot of fun. I'm glad to see I still comfortably have the second most posts on these forums. :)
I guess I'll give you a little update of my life (doubt many of you are that concerned, but I'll subject you to it anyways). I'm looking at my last quarter of my senior year here at Northwestern University. Soon I'll be a biomedical engineer graduate and looking at entering this so-called real world. I'm kind of excited and kind of intimidated, but I guess we all have to go through it at some point. I hope to return to school in a few years and get my MBA.
My big goal before graduation is to finish my patent for a redesign of a shunt catheter for the treatment of hydrocephalus that I've been working on as a senior design (independent study) project.
Anyways, I guess that's pretty much it. Nothing too interesting on my end...sorry. I hope all of you are doing wonderfully though.
Take care!
Panda

Hi Panda,
It's hard to forget a spammer like yourself. Kinda surprised your account doesn't just create posts on it's own

Hey Panda, good to see you bouncing around again. No worries about the title of spam king for a while. It will take warcuddle a year and a half more at this rate to catch you. Glad to see things at NW are going so well, and good luck with the patent. If you head back to NW for your MBA drop me a line, as I plan to be there in about 2 1/2 years for prosthetics and orthotics schooling.
Again, good luck and congrats on everything you have accomplished.

Actually.....
Total Posts: 1,178 (3.97 posts per day)
At that rate he could only make ~2175 posts in another year and a half, still leaving him well short of panda. At this rate it would take about 3 more years, assuming panda doesnt start posting regularly.

Panda will go down in DoW history as King of Spam.:Lin:
Nice to hear from you again Panda, stop by more often.

Thank you very much for your warm hellos. With this quarter looking as light as it is, I should be able to stop by more often. Who knows, maybe I'll even pick up AA again. I'd be nice and rusty, so free kills on the bridge. :)
PJ, as far as I know, is lost in the world of World of Warcraft. Don't know if you all still play with him in that game, but I'm pretty sure he's still very active.

Do you know if you'll be at the RIC (Rehabilitation Institue of Chicago)? It's an excellent institute, if not one of the top in the world. I know a lot of the professors and researchers there, so if you need any information or connections, just let me know. My concentration is in Biomechanics and Rehabilitation, which is heavily focused on prosthetic and orthopaedic design, so many of my professors come from the RIC. I actually have an interview with DePuy Orthopaedics coming up, so it looks like our professions are fairly related. I'll be designing and building new prosthetics, and you'll be fitting them and interacting with the patients (if that's what you are interested in doing). :)
Other upcoming job prospects: Medtronic, Baxter Healthcare, Abbott Labs, and St. Jude's Medical.
Kellogg will be a top choice for buisness schools, so there's an excellent chance I'll be applying there and poking around in a few years. Assuming my company is willing to pay for it. I'm from the Chicago area also, so it would be nice and close to home (well, I guess my new home will be where ever my job after graduation will take me, but whatever).

I like how I can not post for months on end and still have an extraordinarily high post rate.
That's because when you were active it read 49.6 posts per day.
As far as where I am going to be, I really don't know yet. I am finishing up my required courses, and finishing my BA in History first. I will start all of the application process next year, and have no worries about the grades or recommendations for admission from people in the business. I am looking to be a Clinical Prosthetist, actually a CPO. I will try to stay in touch with you over the next few months and follow where you go. That way, if you are still in the Chicago area when I get there we will have to get together and have a beer or something.
Feel free to drop me a line. Emails are:
bfett22@excite.com
or
bfett22@dow-sniper.net
If you want a physical addy for snail mail pm me and I will get it to you.
Take care and stop in more often.

I'll always be in the Chicago area from time to time. I grew up in the south suburbs, so that's where my parents live. We can definitely get together at some point. :)

Thanks again everyone for your kind words. I really do miss you guys and playing with you guys.
Warcuddle, I'm happy to pass on the spamming torch to you. But bear in mind, you do have big shoes to fill. So if you want to follow in my footsteps, there are certain spamming expectations you are required to meet. And I have full confidence that you'll have no problems with that. But if at any point I feel that the spam levels on this forum isn't high enough, I'll step in and unload several months of spam that I have stored up in my fingertips.
Beware. :)
Father-Time.
