A friend of mine, is running Win98 SE and IE 6.0. He gets an run error 173, when he tries to login to his Homebanking. Any suggestion? Couldn't find any at Microsoft. It's not always he gets this error.

There is no easy way to remove those passwords. That is by
design so they are secure.
You have to re-program a chip on the motherboard, or perhaps
even replace that chip. I'm not sure if you can get to the
disk at all... perhaps using OnTrack Data Recovery or
some very expensive service.

It's not only when login at his Homebanking, but also normal surfing on the net.....

Try avant explower see if that works or even firefox.

Do they run on Win98 SE???
