Finally!!

I got my computer back from repair yesterday.. they only spend 6 weeks to put in a new graphics card on the warranty.. I am reinstalling everything including AAO and will try to be online a.s.a.p. looking forward to play again and talk to you guys on TS.. been way to long.

Lol! You shouldve just put the card in youself, and to heck with warranties.

Week 1: The customer "service" people in india try to understand english.

Week 2: The americans working on the computer try to read the taiwanese instructions on how to dissasemble the case.

Week 3: Oh I get it! We have to take out the screws!

Week 4: Push the little release button on the old graphics card

Week 5: Push in the new card, and screw the case back together

Week 6: Figure out who the heck this computer belonged to anyway.

*LOL* you guys.. 1. week.. i called them twice to let them know it was just a new card.
2. week i called them 3 times and´asked if it was done, they said the procedure was 10 working days before i had it back.. at a max.
3. week i called them every day, they were waiting for a new grap. card from Germany
4. week i called them every day to.. same answer
5. week same procedure as week 3 and 4, and same answer i demanded to speak to the manager but with no luck
6. week i called their main office and got in tuch with the manager.. explained to him nice and calm how the newspapers would love to print a story of a professional company who would spend more than 5 weeks to get a graphics card, when i could buy it within 10 minutes, and install it in another 15 minutes. the next day my graphics card mysterious arrived from Germany and my computer was returned *LOL* within 36 hours from i spoke to him. My point is.. go to the head instead of the tail.

Ouch Dude! Thats a long down time... even if your computer were to go up in flames! What good is a warranty if by the time you get your computer back its time to buy a new one?!
