How can you help?

Many of you have been staying up-to-date on all of the happenings with the changes and situation here at DoW as of late. I want to help any of you get involved, if you want to.

If you would like to offer your services, please post here with your strengths, and your weaknesses. If you can't code, but you play on many servers all the time, let me know that. If you don't play as much as before, but you work well with photoshop, let me know. If you enjoy coding, post that. As I posted in another thread, my weakness is in anything technical, but my strengths are in diplomacy and administration.

Once I get some feedback on this I will start talking to other department heads and Ace, and try to get you involved so that you get a chance to not only apply yourselves, but you get to learn some new things, and you get to personally take a hand in shaping DoW.

Some of the areas that may be available include graphics design, coding, recruiting, research, etc. Most of these may be temporary at first, and some of the jobs may even seem trivial. But these will help you build your confidence, will build confidence in those who would be overseeing the works, and possibly open the door for you to move into more permanent participation in these facets of the forums.

Well, I would love to help any way I can, but I'm afraid most of my skills arent very applicable to DoW..... I'm good with electronic hardware, mechanics, etc..... I can write some simple programs in C... Not really that useful :)

But if you have any tasks that just involve an investment of time without a whole lot of specialized skill, I can definetly do that. You mentioned research, I could probably do that. Anyway, if you come up with something, let me know.

I am a photoshop user and 'euheum euheum' quite good with it :p:p:p
Coding in VB is also a specialty... But i don't have the time to do things for DoW right now... Things are so busy over here. I have a GF, School, Sports and going out late at night...

I was in charge of the Structure and i could not continue that work becoaus my EXEL crashed and couldn't get it to work egain. I was making a Bullet for the 'Future -=DoW=-' and i coulnd't finish it becoaus the FTP shut down and i don't have all the tools anymore... What is the point for me to do other things for dow if i can't do those simple thing mentioned above?

I know that real life gets in the way, that is why I am asking for volunteers. No apologies are necessary if you don't have the time, and no excuses are needed. This is only to see if there are cadets that would like to help, and have the time to do so. I won't even guarantee that we find somethng for you to do immediately, only that this is something that we are looking at.
