Just because I'm a network engineer doesn't mean I know anything about graphic artistry.... what application are you guys using to produce all these lovely animated gifs? I want in! :anim_sho:

I don't have any certifications, but I've been working in the field for a long time.... remember, just getting ceritfied doesn't make you marketable. You have to get some experience....even if that means setting up a lan in your house and running a W2K server... Active Directory is becoming an integral part of today's businesses....
Sorry for the rambling... I like talking about my job...lol

I am already there...I run a SQL server from my home and I have approx 50 people logging into it daily. That is running on the Win 2k platform. I also run a business that troubleshoots and repairs networks and home computers at a discounted price...since I am a student. :)

I started reading up on SQL the other day... I need to learn it. What flavor do you use? MSSQL?
Active directory group policy is one of the most powerful technologies I've ever seen...and to see it fly in a large environment is quite a thrill.... If you need practive tests for MCSE, let me know... I have all that stuff.

as of right now I'm using a lil crappy program called unFREEz. It's not the best, but it works.
I set up a LAN in my house. Was easy.....installed network cards(needed a lil help from our pc place with the one), installed the router, cable modem, and applications.
