Forums to be "locked"

Either in the Morning.. or Monday, I will be shutting down the forums to move them to a bigger faster server. Same ISP, Same plan, just more features, speed, etc for the same price.

All forum info is stored in a MySql database, so I need to lock it down while I move it so that any new posts do not get lost..

How long could it take? copy the database, upload it to the new server, and switch the IP on www.dow-sniper.net . lol, well probley more involved than that :) but sounds cool ace
