AAO 2.8.2 install

I have just spent the last 24 hours downloading AAO into my new computer and am tring to extract files for install and keep coming up with the following problem

1. Failed to install ISKernal files.
Make sure you have the appropriate privlages on this computer


what in the hrck are they talkin about????

any help would be ok

BTW this full install was downloaded from AAO Trackers web site if it makes a difference

If you are running Vista then you need to right click on the install file and click on run as administrator.

When the install is done you will need to right click on the game icon, click on the compatibility tab and click the run as admin check box.

Great now you have to get the wife to ok the install she is the admin.

Bigshot had the same probs so he d/loaded 2.7 then patched it ...

bill everyone has been right i have to right click and select admin every time i use AAo

All you have to do is right click on it, click properties/compatibility click the run as admin and you won't have to click admin anymore

Ok that was funny I may talk alot and alittle loud at time's ok most of the time but I dont think that I am that fast. (just alittle old and a lot over weight)I did download the game the other day no one can say DSL is slow because I d/l the game in 6 hours and I had been working on it for days at home with my cable.

Now I need to take the time and install it and set up all the keys and I am on my way to shoting Dave Aka DHL and I dont mean the delivery service.
