Need some help with Version 1.4.0

First off every time I press f1 durring gameplay it crashs both my game and my server. Second there seem to be binoculars but I have yet to find the button.

EDIT: nevermind it's B=Binoculars it didn't update my user.ini :x

The crashing was due to DirectX 9.0 and because I have the lastest drivers for my card. DX8 and old drivers worked fine. However I did a clean install from 1.1.1 through 1.4.0 and now it seems to work.

I put i, o, p, j, k, and L for commands.
B for binocular
, (comma) for Position
. (period) for votekick
h = supports
v = scope/zoom
n = nvg

Where can I find patch that works, aaofiles been there done that .Patch not complete, 3d gamers patch screwed , starts to install then stops with error . can't even run aao now . What's up ! :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: -=DoW Bogey63

Two Options that I can think of....

Reinstall AAO and upgrade as needed.

-or-

***Last Resort*** Get a buddy to put their AAO directory onto an FTP and take it from there, Then overwrite your entire AAO directory with that. That's how I fixed my patch problem. Luckily Mavric and I have a LAN at our house.

i download the 1.4.0 patch from www.aafiles.com go there i tried and it is fast and i got no problams ! ! !

Ya he did I had to give hime my copy, Personaly I hate the new patch the only good things are the Binocs, votekick works and the report in. the new map is good as a sniper map but that is all it is good for the honor system stinks now I played on all offical servers for 10 hours winning like I always do and not even up one point I have on mistake nade kill a team mate and now I'm at a 9, I posted iy prustrations every where I could the beta forums, offical forums in about ten diffrent places... along with about 400-600 others and No word from the Devs. I think they are losing interest in the game my self or at least in what the players want.

Yeah, and has anyone else had crashing issues with this release? I've had more crashes with 1.4.0 in three days than I had with 1.3.0 in a month!

I've got about 10 140 crash logs for every 130 crash log.

Tuns of crashes, I've been reporting all of them in the beta forums, but I think they are off for Turkey day...
