It is with great Honor that I get to announce the Selection for the Battalion First Sergeant positions.
With this Office comes the following responsibilities;
1st Sergeant
- When you talk about the first sergeant you are talking about the life-blood of the Army. It is the first sergeant at whom almost all unit operations merge. Responsible for the oversight of all Platoons, squads, teams, and individual soldiers. Problems arising from individuals and/or s quad rivalries will be heard by this position. Who will in turn delegate a 3 member (leader capacity) impartial panel to review problems/ instigations/ and non-compliance with Battalion. TOS (terms of service). Responsible for the processing of personnel actions to be sent up the COC. This position will enforce discipline and encourage duty among the troops, and will share dual responsibilites with the Sergeant Major on the maintenance of the duty roster. Responsible for working with the -=DoW=- Honor Guard on the scheduling of matches clan vs. Battalion and conflicts in Platoon vs. Platoon scheduling. Will report to CSM and SM on the weekly activities of the Battalion.(i.e. awards, promotions, duty changes) and will be responsible to see orders carried out by same. May delegate authority to Platoon Leaders.
