Ace... You been noticing problems with high ping since the upgrade? I've noticed it, mainly while Adminning, and the server's not always been full. It's not real consistent, but I thought I should report it.

Then again, I don't think this is the most stable release they've put out, is it?

You have to be joking the most stable relese... 1.0 was more stable, I crash all the time, the honor system sucks, and dont even get me started on rotating servers.... I'm going back to 1.3 I think.

I installed 1.4 5 mins b4 I pulled out of the driveway..
Who knows if the damn server is even still running...

I *would* go back to 1.3.1 too, but then there'd hardly be any servers to play on!

Just had another real bad ping problem on 1. Server just crashed because of it, as a matter of fact.

Thought I'd let ya know.

It is random for the most part. An admin doing just about anything might crash it. Also when ever an admin is logged in that creates a bunch of lag.

@coby the lag has been rather heavy recently probably do to a script kitty that’s mad because we banned him. I had someone spooffing IP's and messing with VII but I think I got him taken care of, at least I havn't seen any sign of him in the past day. :twisted:

Admins don't really bog down the server that much. Unless the server is full and you have more than one admin in. That's the only time I've seen admin presence slow the server down on its own.

But this ping thing started up when 1.4.0 came out, and has been an intermittently persistent problem ever since. At least, on -=DoW=- 1. Haven't taken particular notice of it elsewhere.

yes these patches are cool but they make the lag and ping go higher and higher i hate it :twisted: :evil:
