I first have to admit that I had not looked at the new flask map for MP for sometime. Allesir suggested that I do and was suprised to see tha the NW lower ledge boundary had been moved. As I recall this boundary was an originally an extension of a line that divided CP which extended all the way to the lower ledge. That would put it just forward of the single bush on that map or in other words where the berm for the NW lower ledge ended or flatened out. This made a lot of sense and I STRONGLY  recommend that the flash map be revised to to this bounday location.

The problem is that allowing def that extra 50 yards, eliminates a large section of safety for assault, who already have a tough time as it is. It has worked far better when def have to run the risk of being spotted to get into position on the upper ledge. Its probably moot anyway - 1.9 will be out in a week and the boundaries will change.

I didn't know about the adjusted boundary either. Then I looked at the new flash map and realised that I had been sniping assualt from outta bounds. For this I will apologise. But the only section that this supposedly takes away is the Assault Trail. Which is xposed as it is from either the west upper or lower ledge. The only place not on the map that is not vulnerable is assualt spawn. def spawn can be sniped from cp.

Well it may be a mute point if 1.9 ever comes out. In the meantime, I don't believe that the extra 50 feet added to defense side subtracts from the assault or hinders the assault from achieving their goal.

My other point is the original boundaires were where I have suggestd that they should be. Somehow they got changed and I don't recall any conversation in the forum where we talked about boundary adjustment.

Another thing is that there is a disparity between the rules as stated in the maps and those posted in the rules for each map. That needs to be fixed.

I'm with Red. I don't recall a boundary adjustment either. And I think it may give a little help to assault since there are those who will feel compelled to run around to that point, and I know Red and myself can both be set and ready by the time they get around (as long as DS doesn't get us on the run), me on ta ledge and Red on lower north CP.

If it's changed then fine but let the world know and make sure everything is consitent in graphic and print.

Show me where you are talking about in the print, so that I can change what you are talking about.
