it says i can only record for 15 seconds at a time, is there a way i can put 2 vid's together??

hey has anyone gotten this message when starting fraps .....
to run this u need somethin with sse processor (not exactly what it siad but)

What type of CPU do you use?

MMX, SSE, SSE2, 3DNow! are all instruction sets, and depending on what CPU you have, the program may require something it does not support.

ok a few friends of mine got the message or the FPs was to low that cause lag.. but the weird thing was there computer was more powerful than man... them having like 1.9 ghz and me 1.3ghz....

The FPS will be quite low, depending on video card, I have a GeForce 4 Ti4200, and it lags pretty bad when its recording. FRAPS is very intensive, but also excellent quality, which has a price. High video usage and large file sizes. Might want to play with settings, like slower frame rate, half-size, etc. As for the error message, i dunno, should be fine . . .

When i reocord it stays at 15-25 fps no lag )heres my friends comp stats. hes the one who gets the sse problem


i have p4 1.4 ghz processor
64 mb geforce 2 mx video card
512 mb ram
integrated sound
online svc: dsl lite (256k down 128k up)

Wow this is a really old post but I just wanted to add if you type demorec in the consol it records like fraps, and to turn it off type stopdemo the only problem is it is not saved in AVI form so you can't play it i in any media player just the game!
