I would like to take this opportunity to announce the formation of the -=DoW=- Cadet Program. This program will be open to applicants ages 15-17. However, should a current -=DoW=- member have a child that wishes to apply to the program, they are free to but must be 13 years of age or older.
A cadet program within the -=DoW=- structure offers younger players the opportunity to take part in -=DoW=- events as well as be a member of a responsible, mature community of America's Army veterans. It would provide them the chance to learn by example as well as prepare them for what is expected of a -=DoW=- member should they seek membership when they reach the appropriate age.
Cadets will strive to uphold the same standards that members of -=DoW=- play by. They will learn all the tools and guidelines that have made -=DoW=- the success it is today. A cadet must have at least 20 honor before applying and must go through a 30 day probationary period.
Cadet will have a tag similiar to those in -=DoW=-. The cadet tag will look like -=DoWc=- Username. Anyone who would like to contribute ideas or assistance with the program can contact me and we can talk.
This program will help -=DoW=- grow not only as a clan but as leaders in the AA community. The cadets will have an area in Teamspeak where they can talk and play. We welcome all -=DoW=- members to come by and get to know the cadets. They are the future of -=DoW=- and we need to be sure to show them the right path. They will follow the same rules that we do, though some are a bit more strict for obvious reasons. They will also have their own forum area for posting and we welcome you all to read and contribute to it with thoughts, ideas, and all the things that have made -=DoW=- the close group it is today.
I will be available at all times via email, TS, private messages, or the forum to hear any ideas or thoughts you have on the program. I am eager to hear what you all think and am sure you can all see the benefit of this organization and how great an asset it will be to the clan. Once the cadet forum area becomes available, I will be posting rules, regulations, and further requirements for joining.
