Heres a few pics from around town. I only woke up to close the windows :-) I didn't even know it was coming, then next morning, i wake up to no power, and a whole bunch of trees down everywhere, signs not where they should be, trampolines miles away from their owners homes, etc. Wish i had have realized, i would have stayed up to watch it. Oh well.

We had an election going at the same time, and they found election signs in Quebec! (500 - 1000 KM's away)
The wind and water also unearthed grave stones from the 1800's that no one know were there or something like that. Was pretty crazy i guess.

Po, dont be too certain. Germany had a "windhose" up in Norderstedt this year, which is close to Hamburg, which is of course very close to Denmark. Apparantly a weather expert forcasts more scenes of "windhosen" in the next couple o years.

Basically, he said, we have already programmed the weather for the next 50 years, theres nothing we can do about it.

And very "cool", "exciting", and SCARY pictures of a weather depression !!!!

I remember this year, we had a storm after days of around 35-42 degress CELSIUS in GERMANY. The thunder and lightning lasted about 5 hours where I lived, and the worst bit was the last bit, about two lightning strikes every second - NOW THAT IS BAD FOR EUROPE!!!!

I didnt know where to look.

I am s h i * scared (from childhood - dont know why) of Lightning, but to help me get over it I stay awake and watch it. It is for Europe one of the most FASCINATING things one can ever look at. I didnt know where to look, it was striking that often.

I am thankful that I dont YET have to watch Tornados or Hurricanes raging thru Europe, but I guess we´re not far off it
