Hey guys, i was wondering, when i see my teammates violating the rules of the server, is it ok to TK them. This only applies when their are no admins around, which doesn't happen too often. In the past, we (the non-cheating players) just wound the violator, and warn him. If he does it again, he's TKed and kicked. Is this what you suggest to do?

TK´ing is never a good solution. Instead of TK´ing a guy, tell him what he is doing wrong, and if he continues to make the same "mistake" over and over again, feel free to log in to the -=DoW=- Teamspeak. There is allmost allways an admin present, and after telling him, he will deal with your "problem" :D

If it should happen that there is no admin present on teamspeak.. feel free to initiate a votekick on the guy.. if there is an admin present when a tk is taking place.. the guy who do the tk will be kicked!!! :banger:

As an admin. I ask "why the TK?" Once I have an answer. I will either watch that player to see if the behaviour continues. Then I handle it. But when asked why the tk and there is no response. I will kick those with ROE points. So it is always best to answer when you see an admin asking.

TKing rulebreakers *is* covered in the rules. If there's no admin around, and none on TS, go ahead with it. After he's died, use Global Chat to tell him why you TKed him. If he breaks the rules again later on, TK him again. Then, once he's out of the way for that round, see if you can get him votekicked off. Just keep an eye on your ROE so you don't get kicked by the server.

but what i have seen with that is by the time admin comes on "not all" the rule breaker has got bored and left and it just makes you feel stupid :(

ok here is my 2 cents on this subject and the rules i have read on this subject and by all means if i have missed something please point out to me.this is the rule that i read on the subject of tking.(3. No teamkilling. The only exception is if there is a team member violating these rules. If you have to make such a kill, please ensure that your victim is thoroughly informed of the rule violation they committed afterwards, and also alert the admin on duty if there is one. If you make an accidental teamkill, please apologize promptly. Don't forget to use Global chat to do so.)as most of you know i am a shoot first and ask questions later type of guy,i try to warn before i tk if there is time.the exception being if the guy is going around the corner of mid arch, that being said.sometimes there isnt a adm pressent at the time of the violation and u have to deal with the problem yourself. hunting a adm is sometimes more trouble than its worth,by this i mean by the time you find one and get him in where you are.the rule breaker has left and you have the deer cought in the headlights look on your face cause you feal like gomer pile cause you have just bothered a adm for no reason.so then you appolajise and feel even dumber than you look,or at least i do lol.but i myself have tked with a adm in the server but i didnt know and in the heat of a fire fight sometimes you miss things that are said.
