Hiya guys... In case you haven't noticed, I've decided NOT to get involved in the clan to clan BS going on... I haven't posted anything negative about anyone on either forum, and it's staying that way... I wouldn't want to p-off Father Time again. ;)

I did have a question about running windows application in MDK 9.1... It's been said that Lindows is the best windows emulator, but I'd like to get some more expert opinions before I shell out tons of bucks for it... is there any freeware out there that will allow me to emulate 2000/XP? I want to run my MIDI software under Lunix (As well as AA, there's no unix version, right?) The goal is not to ever have to use M$ products again... lol

Input is appreciated! Hope you guys are doing well.

There is a linux version of AA. 2 of our servers are linux and are running it.

As for a emulator under linux you can use Wine (is freeware and comes with all major linux distro's include mdk) or you can use vmware (vmware is better in my opinion as it even gives you a virtual desktop just as if the OS was installed.) and for vmware if you look hard enough on the net you can probably find a registration key for it.

That way you ain't shelling out $$ for lindows. Heck you may even find somewhere to download it for free.

Bump.

I got a new computer with Lindows (Linspire now because Microsoft loves to sue people, especially 17 year olds)

I installed AA already but when I run the executable file, I see the AA splash screen, then it closes and it says "Cannot find the program armyops'.

Any idea what I should do?
Here's what I did so far...

Reinstalled it
PMed the WRONG Tyler Durden...
Downloaded 2.0.0a and patched it to 2.1.0
Hit the monitor
Punched the computer
Threw the laptop out the window
yanked some locks of hair out
The works.
