You are on trial. You have commitied a crime in a diffent country and society. The way that this society determines guilty or innocence, is you pick out of a hat. There are two sheets of paper, one saying "guilty" one saying "not guilty". The people in this country hate you and your native people. You KNOW that both sheets in the hat will say "guilty". How do pick so that you are innocent?!?!?!

close enough, the riddle answer is pick one, and put it in your mouth and eat it, then you take out the other one, read it, and say "well if this one says guilty, the other one obviously was "not guilty"

ok, 2 sheets of paper in the hat, both read "guilty", you pick one sheet up, which you know says "guilty", you put it in your mouth and swallow. Then you pick out the sheet that is left over in the hat, which reads "guilty" also, because they cheated. BUT you were clever, there was supposed to be a "guilty" and a "not guilty", buy showing everyone that the one left over was "guilty", you can assume that u picked the "not guilty" one. get it???
