Who's running the new -=DoW=- Mountain Pass server? (Lag)

Saw a -=DoW=- Mountain Pass server up tonight. No number, just said -=DoW=- Sniper Rifles Only, etc... same as -=DoW=- 1 shows. Anyway, I logged on, and then checked to make sure I could get in with the Admin password. It worked fine. So, I decided this must be our new MP server, and set some keybinds for logon. A few players came in while I was setting my keybinds, so I went in as a Player to play a game.

THE LAG WAS HORRENDOUS!!! No one there had a ping lower than 1500! The average was around 1700. A couple spiked over 2000! Then, we had a couple jokers decide to run GHOST on us. I tried to go Admin again, to take care of it, but I couldn't because of the LAG!!!

Okay... thanks for the info. Really glad to see that we're gonna be getting a Mountain Pass server again! My FAV sniper map!!!

I am also extremely happy about this. I saw it up and running last night and this morning, but when I connected to the game everyone was just waiting and nothing actually ever started.

At one point last night, a few lamers were on there. Apparently someone had turned on SLOMO 0, which slows the game to a CRAWL. Everyone was forking around with UCs, so I had to ban the whole server. (whole server = everyone on the server)

Wow. Rough night... I hope it gets up and running soon. I can't wait to play on MP again. :banger:
