I know this is probably a stupid question, but who has sniper training (36 or better on rifle range) and past the airborne live jump. I try and try but can never get more than 34 on range and I miss the circle on the live jump by inches. I hate having to redo the training on the range to try again. Anybody want to send me their training file (.ini I think). I will change user name on it, it that works. I just want to pass rifle and jump training, I will do the rest of the other schools on my own.

man as i know it isn't in the ini file it is on their servers you need to give your name and password to somebody to do it or do it yourself

Rifle Range

The rife range is tough, the only trick i have is to use lower resolution 800x600 and drag your thumb and small finger on the mouse pad to steady your shot. Like the game a couple shots that are dead on count as misses so every shot counts.

People on the game claim to have shot 40 without problem. I don't know if I should believe them or except that it's easier on some systems. Once I thought I had 2 shots left when i hit 36 hoping for a 38, but when I hit 36 the screen flashed to the end and told me you fired expert.

Airborne

I have over 300 skydives and I don't know how many Army Airborne jumps and it still took me 8 or 10 trys on the first jump.

The jump is set up the same every time, so as soon as you can see the ground turn about 30% left until aimed at the target, then go forward for about half the distants left let up as the parachute still drifts in that direction, make last second right-left corections, then set up for landing. I hated making it into the target only to have a bad landing.

I have noticed and read that the rifle range is screwed up. On the long distance shots from about 175 and on you need to shoot at the bottom left of the target in order to hit it right try this to see if it will help you out. And on the subject of using someone elses file it will not work I tried it when I switched my name over to -=DoW=-. It will allow you to change it but you can not play any games with it changed. It will only tell you that you fail authorization. And don't even think to use mpcheat changeclass s on the rifle range it will allow you to qualify and get expert but it also says you cheated an dwill not update the records.

For the range the only other help I can give is try turning down your mouse speed in the game settings. Aisde from that pray that the auth server isn't down when you finaly get it. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

On the live jump when your in the plane face SSE (half way between SE and S). Once they launch you out look down as soon as you can see clearly, the circle should be almost stright down, press forward for about a second at a time until you look good (I found 2-3 1 second pluses puts me in the smoke) then flare once about half way down the smoke.

Also you can try to install version 1.2 of Americas Army
I did and the first time i hit 39
Then upload this score an than add patch to version 1.5
Worked for me :banger:

you have to down load all 7 files and run the batch I thought they had the whole thing in one file but I can't find it now.

The .ini file won't do anything, it is stored on offical army servers, so you have to beat it.
