In the 4x4 grid below, 32 consecutive two digit numbers (45 to 76) have been packed in it.
1 3 5 9
2 5 4 8
0 7 6 2
1 6 3 9
The challenge: Pack as many consecutive 3 digit numbers as possible into a 9x9 grid. The numbers may be read from any direction. No leading zeros.
(this should keep him busy for a week :)

Oh crud....
I'll do this Ace (if I can), but I'll have to find some way to squeeze it in between Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Systems Physiology, and Intro to Electrical Engineering.
But, anything for the boss!

I think this is close to impossible... I think one of you software engineers could solve it more quickly by writing an application to do it for you....

Still no answer. There's too many combinations and my poor little brain just can't crunch them all.
I'm thinking a computer program would be the best way to go. Someone else can do that, though, cause I'm not too talented at programing. But if anyone gets an answer in the near future not only would I be interested in seeing the algorthim they used, but I'd ask that they don't post the answer quite yet. I've got a couple of routes I'd still like to try. Thanks.

Unless you made your own algorithm, please don't steal other people's answers. And if you do have your own algorthim, I'd like to see it because it just seems too convenient that you have the same answers that the person on that site has.
I'm not looking for an answer. I'm looking for a method of getting the answer without using a computer (i.e. by hand).
At the bare minimum at least give the guy who came up with these solutions some credit.

any riddle you find online, i'll find the answer too. :) All i do is find answers. How I get them is not my problem :p
/edit
by hand is not possible unless you can work as fast as a computer, which I somehow doubt you can :)
