Unable to see dow servers

I was wondering if anybody else has a problem seeing all the Dow servers in the server list ? The only one I can ever see is 12.237.241.252 ?

It is very frustrating that I cant see the servers.

I use a Lynski router, win98, i/e 6.0- I had Zone Alarm running, but un-installed it to see if that made a difference and it did not.

Also when typing the ip to run the game in the console, do you need to sign in first and do it from that page ?

Let me guess, they were there before you installed Zone Alarm, but after they were not.... I have seen this before with other games...The only fix I know of Is a complete re-install of your Os, If that is what happened... I can see them so I dont think they are down, but I may be wrong...

Okay so you do have ZoneAlarm deaktivated ..

Here is my Config:

I got BEFSR41 (LINKSYS). My OS is XP, 2000, Win98 and NT 4.

I am playing with XP and up and on Win98. I dont have any problems up there ... which FIRMWARE do you have (check if latest). Then try to uninstall TCP/IP ... if you do have more problems and restart. REInstall TCP/IP again ! Check if you enabled blocklist (Block IP) o. s. on the LInksys. Did you enable SPI ? Which Linksys do U use ?

Think about this too...the DoW servers have been removed from anyone seeing them on gamespy. If you are using the ingame browser to find the maps, you will never see them.

You need to use THEALLSEEINGEYE program or some other browser...go to AAfiles.com and see what I mean.

Also, the servers are password protected. If you try getting on w/o the password you would have this problem also...take it from someone who was inyour shoes.

Get AllSeeingEye from AAfiles.com, install it, search for the servers from the maptype list. log in. and don't forget the password!

Ok I installed all-seeing eye, found two dow servers on bridge. I have no access to any passwords for the servers LOL

is there a members only section of dow web with them (password) or could somebody e mail the pass.

Ya I know it is not the best news, but that was the only wany I was able to fix mine when I had the problems with ZoneAlarm... How ever if you can see other servers ZA might not be the problem...

also keep in mind there in only one Bridge server, the others are on diffrent maps like mounton pass, and weapons catche.

i have zone alarm also. But i dont use the in game browser or gamespy. i use

you guys tryed sygate firewall out yet, it seemed to be a good firewall for me before i got my router.

also if you do try make sure you uninstall ZA first ,trust me i know what happens when you run two firewalls at the same time :D

I dont use a firewall, never had a need for one, there is nothing on my puter I cant re-install and nothing I dont want getting out... :)

:D Looks like I am able to see and play all the servers. I am using all-seeing eye program and it works great.

yah i tryed the sygate firewall. it is not all that good. i didnt really like it and the reviews frim pc world like zone alarm better. so that is what i am using now it is GREAT!!!. and best of all there is a free verson that has updates also.
