Okay, new forum and all, this place is probably gonna have a few bugs.
Here's one of them for starters:
I keep clicking the "Log me in automatically" checkbox, but it never logs me in! I always have to go back and log in manually.

Bush,
Try doing a refresh, or go to your Profile, pick another theme, see if other theme works.
Then go back to the theme that you like. IF still not showing up, may be access rights

I think I can help with the answer to why, I noticed yesterday the forums were comming up as a IP address, most browsers dont save cookies for IP address, they need a web address to attach them to. I beleve it is working today not that your domain is up completely... if it is not working, some other reasons may be if you are using a frame to relay the forums from some where else, Like a diffrent site.... We ran into some of these problems when we first put up our site, when our sites url came online it fixed it self... the frames problem we are still working on, if this is your problem I'll let you know how to fix it when I figure it out my self... :)

I went into my Cookies folder and deleted all entries as well as going into the Internet Explorer security file and disabling the per session cookies. I then shut down explorer and started it again, this got me in past the login window. I think some of the problems are due to (like Mavric said) the forum being addressed with the IP address and now with a proper DNS url. Try it and see if it works.

I selected subblack3d as my theme for the forum, but is anyone else running this theme and having a problem with the buttons not showin up properly? I get the title and function of the button, but the little red x that is telling me that the picture can't/won't load.

there is a fix for this theme, I had to DL for my forums, it is 3 files and can be downloaded from the authors web page, it will make the index up top more readable, and fixes the post and reply buttons... I can send it to you if you cant find it... let me know, I also use this theme here.. and ya the buttons dont show and the index is very hard to read if you dont know what they are...

Looks like Ace or Lonely has fixed it up. I was getting a critical error trying to come in earlier, and when I was able to get in... *poof* ...fixed up buttons. Look like they put a patch or upgrade in... Thanks Ace/Lonely

OK twice today while logging in I got error messages:
first:
Template->make_filename(): Error - file ./templates/DesertStorm/overall_header.tpl does not exist
Second:
Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/dow-snip/dow-sniper-www/forum/common.php:111) in /home/dow-snip/dow-sniper-www/forum/common.php on line 115
and also Jthm9 set his profile to Cobalt and now gets an error message that cobalt doesn't exist but because thats what he has it set to he can't login to change his profile to DesertStorm because it can't find the cobalt.
also this keeping him from replying to vicky's post to get the 25 replys needed for 'Vickysbottem'.
Also I can only see 4th platoons forum none of the rest.

Was doing some upgrading last night is the reason for some of the errors,
I could have locked the board, (but if i get disconnected) not sure i could even get back in.
Anyway, i think I have fixed most of the errors.
Bush,
I will try and find that patch for you to fix your icons etc, for the sub3dblack.
I also will be installing more themes as we progress..
You Might want to make a habit of hitting f-5 on the login screen uptill I get all my changes / fixes / adds/ etc done with.

Be very careful when you are locking the board If you get disconnected you can NOT get back in. I usualy have 3 computers logged into the forums when I lock them just as a percaution.... The fix is on my site at www.theoutcasts.org/fiz.zip there is 3 or 4 files just upload and replace, althought the buttons are working today, the index is still hard to read... the fix does correct that.
