Sergeant First Class
-=DoW=- The_Ultim8, D company 1st platoon

During the Vietnam era, the platoon sergeant was affectionately referred to as the "Platoon-Daddy", and although the term has since faded, the role remains that of the "Father of the Platoon. Responsible for their Platoons direction. Reviews current Platoons duty roster, training, and discipline, and makes changes as needed. Will handle any scheduling conflicts within their assigned Platoons. Will report to FSG on weekly activities (awards, promotions, platoon duty assignments) and will be responsible to see orders carried out by same. May delegate authority to Squad leaders.</center>
