Need Another Admin?

Greetings. I have been surfing this board for a few weeks now, and I must say I think that what y'all are doing is great. I am currently not part of a clan, nor am I looking to join one, but I would like to volunteer my time to help this cause. My AAO name is (Geppetto), current honor (as if that means anything :p) is 46, age 19, from Illinois (GMT -6).

I am curious as to whether or not you would be interested in allowing me to help you catch cheaters by allowing me to admin your servers. I will not lie, but I have never admined a server before, but I learn very fast. I will (of course) report my findings and screen shots for approval before banning anyone.

I have a rather light school schedule, and I play AAO about 1-2 hours minimum a day. I already have teamspeak and ventrilio, and a mike, and I am not opposed to downloading anyother software you feel I may need. I also have a broadband (cable) conenction. I can handle any amount of players without difficulty, nor will my presence in the server be felt by an increase in lag.

Anyway, you seem to be the only clan (that I have found) which is really attempting to crack down on cheaters, and I hate them as much as you all do, and would simply like to help in the effort.

Thank you for your offer but we currently have about 40 admins all over the US and Europe. I'm sorry but we don't let others outside of -=DoW=- admin our servers either. Thank you though! :D

Even though not everyone has the be the chance to be admin, everyone can still lend a helping hand, like reporting troublemakers on the gaming servers , or sneaking in dirt on the latest hacking projects. :P

ever since the evil hack site went down i can't seem to find it again. I was looking in on a way to modify the skins so that opfor clothes would be an easily seen bright red colour, but I decided against testing for fear of being banned :p

I dunno about TechnoHack... those guys are strange. First they modify EvilHack's sourcecode, rendering it a PunkBuster magnet, then they chase away EvilBert. After all that nonsense, they formed TechnoHack... the "ultimate" hack for Americas Army.

They sell private builds for $40, and they are selling their sourcecode for $25,000. That is what I know from digging in their forums for some time. I personally wouldn't trust them with anything, I mean, they do have a history of backstabbing people, like what they did to EvilHack.

Maybe it was a decoy, maybe it was an anti-cheater in disguise. But what I puzzled together, that 'decoy' was a way to shut down EvilHack, scare away Bert, and release all sourcecodes from EvilHack to Evenbalance. By doing so, Technohack will have the monopoly.

ok this worked for me i dunno if it will work for you guys tho try it anyway..install TH the way u normally would..then after ur done go to the main folderC;/program files/TH or w.e and right click on the folder select properties select hidden and apply.. next go to properties again under gereral go to adv. click on encrypt contents to secure data. Then press ok it will ask if it should do it to all subfolders and files click yes. this way when pb reads the files its not even close to what its supposed to be on the fingerprint.. and each computer makes its own key so no one will have the same thing..:P when done your folders font should turn green have fun
