Smoke suggestion:

Please change rule to 2 smokes. Chances are (and this is more likely in different situations) that a tactical marksman would carry more than one smoke in an urban style (bridge, insurgent, WC_SE) scenario.

Although to be honest no smokes would be more likely in a wilderness scenario.

Just thoughts to throw at you for a realism factor.

Thanks for listening....

It's been suggested several times that we revert to our old rule of 2 smokes per assaulter. I myself am for it, although I believe the majority of people are still against it, preferring just one smoke for assault, or one smoke for everyone. Maybe add a poll to this, if you can in this section?

We could (well I could) limit smoke to only the Sgt's. But as for 2 per person I’d only go to that if there was a disclaimer that if they repeatedly throw it front of me right when I'm about to shoot I can kick them. Also it could fall into the category of blind spamming when they throw a smoke and they’re not even past the first car.

No, "spamming" or "blind shooting" is when you're actually looking to wound a target. Smoke is a cover/diversion device. Totally different.

But when round after round they simply run to the car and throw smoke in the same spot with no benefit except blocking their team from progressing? Sorry but I see that as spam and it's annoying. If they need more than one smoke they should coordinate as team to benefit the whole not just them selves trying to get the arch without being seen only to get sniped once the smoke starts to clear. :2cents:

I think the kind of people you're talking about are the ones that aim that smoke around mid-arch, then rush up to one of the arch sides. I hate assault rushers.

Exactly, they would use one to rush up there and then throw another smoke, run out and dive on the cat walk and come out behind you bunny hopping to there death. Since we cut the smoke limit down to one I haven't seen it happen nearly as often.

I think on Bridge the smoke should be set at one. The map is so small and it cannot be used for diversion purposes.

On Mountain Pass I like it as two. It has so many uses on that map

Bridge is going to stay at 1 smoke per assault.
Zero Smoke for Defenders.
