View Full Version : Avatars and Signatures wont work for me :(

I go to my profile, and enter the links, hit submit, previewed a post, and they werent there...went back to profile, and the links where gone ! :(......

You have the attach sig turned on?

Never mind, I edited your post and clicked on the Attach Signature.. :)

If you want a sig on all posts then make sure that you turn it on in your profile.

Ok...I got it working now..

I went and tried on another site that uses the same type of forum software..and they worked.....the profile kept the settings and gave me a link to return to main index.

When i did it here, I got no link to return to main index, so I came back and tried again...What happened was.... After submitting, I faild to notice that it said the birthdate was formated incorrectly...or something like that. I never filled it out..

So, i filled it out, re-entered the links, and submit again...This time, i got the link to return to main index...and all was good :)

When you say Avatr. Do you mean the ones installed here locally, or some remote avatr?

ohh, I have installed a little PHP coding to keep the remote avatr's at like 80x80 and under 6k. If any bigger, it my not display, but then again, my code my not work to begin with :).

Oh it works on my avatar. I've got a bigger version for the OC forums. Mavric's settings are a little bigger.

Prime Example what happens when I have to change your name. Prolly got changed while you where logged on..

Everyone was warned last week I would be fixing names :)...

acedeal the problem was that when you go to gallery the birthday is being reset so you click submit and it will say birthday was typed incorrectly and won't change avator that was the problem 8)

Well, once the birtday is set correct, then you do not have to worry about it again.

When you goto the avatar gallery and then click select avatar. Then it sends you back to your profile but it clears all the birthday info and sets the year to 0.
