HOME

Home, Home so far away,
Why so long should we have to stay?
All so far from family and friend,
It seems like the pain never end.
Why, Oh why did we ever go?

For all people let them know,
For love of country we did go.
There comes a time when we hear our countrys call,
And go to do for the good of all.

For we are the protectors of our way of life.
Even if it means possible Death and Strife.
We go to do what must be done,
We go and fight and act as one.

We are the Soldier, Sailors, and Marines!
We live and will die for our countrys dreams.
We are proud each of us to a man,
We will fight and do all we can.

This is dedicated to all those that have served our country when it has called upon them.
It was written just before Desert Storm when I was stationed at A.S.U. Bahrain. :)

A truly wonderful piece. You really should submit that to some journals, everyone should have a chance to read those words.

A Bump means it just puts it back at the top of the list, and marks it as new so ppl will notice it again.
