DoW III Server

What happened, you guys had a great weapons cache server, almost always had a full server, and you switch it to a mountain pass, one of the worst maps they ever made, I was very disappointed, when you took the server down during a full match with 2 great teams, Including at least 4 DoW members to put that map up. It just doesn't seem right. and on top of it you made it a all weapons server, That map, barely passes as a fair sniper map. I can't say this enough, BAD CHOICE!!!! You disappointed a lot of people tonight by doing this me included... I'm sorry if this seems improper to even come here and post this, but I wanted to let you all know What I felt about that choice...

I do need to disagree with you about mountain pass not being a good sniper map...the DEVs said that it was designed with snipers in mind. This is also the DoW II server's map for our sniping needs. Bridge is ok, but is too cramped for some of us, too fogged in, and there are too many choke points. Mountain pass opens up many alteratatives and leaves many hiding places for a sniper.

I do agree that moving DoWIII to mountian pass all weapons was a mistake since we have DoW II there already. DoW III should remain weapons cache or someother map unless we have Dow II full and need more servers to meet a demand for DoW sniping. Just my three cents.

Actually this was dow3 discussion but i dont see a dow2 mountain pass snipers map anymore. Its bridge now. Did i miss anything or why do we have 3 bridge maps now, and not a single mountain pass map?

Bridge is nice, but i prefer mountain pass.

Ok What did you do to the Dow III server this time? LOL now cheats are on but none of the weapons work lol.... I think Weapons cache is best as a non cheat server my self, but it is fun to see every one running around with rpk's every once and a while.... lol

Well, every possible cheat has been disabled except for sniper rifles. Not like a sniper rifle will do you much good, but at least you have the option. Just wanted to see how it would play out.

How did you do that?
you may want leave the M4A1auto active incase some one wants to swich back... :) I do think that Weapons Cache is best as a non Cheat server though... much more fun.... :)

There is a program at aafiles that will let you edit your agp.u offsets to disable/enable certain cheats.
