I have a Glock 19C Special edition, for Israeli Security Forces, with built in compensator and a minus triger.

I wonder what do the other dow members carry in real life.

I have 2 that I carry;
Colt 1911 MkIV series 80 .45
Sig P229 .40 S&W

Both are loaded with Hyrda-Shocks. With suits and thin clothing I carry the .45. Rest of the time I carry the Sig .40

I'm only 20 so I can't legally own/carry a handgun, yet. But since I was 18 I've been getting on average one rifle a year.

So far the collection includes: Remington 870 12ga, Springfield Armory M1 Garand (made mid April 1942), Bushmaster XM15-E2S shorty carbine (CAR-15), a Bushmaster Varminter upper receiver for the same rifle (1/4 MOA at a 100yds). And a 7 shot .22 revolver that was my great grand fathers that I could carry since it was made before 1899 but why would I.

This June when I turn 21 I'll probably be getting a Kimber Ultra Ten II or the Kimber Ultra Carry II. I'm not sure if I want the bulk of the double stack mag.

I use a Springfield Armory V-10 45 cal. as my daily carry gun. It's small size works well in all manners of dress. I also use Federal Hydra Shok, just can't argue with 98% one shot stops.

Well unfortunetly i don't own any right now. Had a small mishap with my exwifes boyfriends car. Seems his car got in the way of my bullets one day. So the judge toook them all away :.50: naaa just kidding. i have 2 S&W 9mms locked in a box. Haven't touched them in years. would have really liked to have shot up his car though

Yes they are expensive and addictive. The M1 Garand is probably the one with the least invested at around $1,200 USD. That’s the gun around 50 clips and a few extra stocks I've made for it and all the original WWII memorabilia that goes along with it (Bayonets, bandoleers, M7A2 Grenade Launcher, etc.) Close second would be the Bushmasters and I wont go into that...

Well, I turn 21 this year. But, I know I probably won't have money enough to buy Jack Schitt. Although in the future I plan on having at least a "House Gun" for home protection and an occasional outing to the range, I've only got the one that God gave me for now.

It's an awful long list but will throw down my favorites...

Pistols/Revolvers
SiG P239 in .40sw
Glock 22C
Ruger Vaquero in .480
S&W 5906TSW (unfortunately badly scratched in the line of duty, actually in line at a local competition (dropped it taking it out of my trunk DOH!))

Shotgun
Remington 870

Rifle
H&K SL8 (non select fire)
Springfield Armory M1 in .308 (my own personal pride and joy)
Bushmaster M4 "clone" company issue

I have about 25 total pieces but hese are the best and most used of the bunch.

Byteme just curious as the why the 239 over the 229?

Sig 239
Caliber 9mm Luger, .357SIG, .40 S&W.
Magazine Capacity 8-7 Rounds.
Action Single/Double
Weight Unloaded 21.7 oz.
Special Features Sold w/ standard or short trigger

Sig 229
Caliber 9mm Luger, .357SIG, .40S&W
Magazine Capacity 10 rounds
Action Single/Double
Weight Unloaded 27.5 oz.
Special Features

Granted the 229 is a little heavier, but carries more rounds. I shopped both of these models, but went with the higher mag capacity.

Concealability and comfort. This is my off duty carry most of the time. It's a little lighter and a little smaller....

I carry 2 extra mags with it and i don't forsee needing more than the first 8 at any time... (yes I pipe load at all times)

I love the 229 and the 220 also but this was the most comfortable for extended periods...

Okay let's see if I can remember them:
.30-06 Remington Gamemaster, Remington .44-40, 2 British .303's, 2 Mauser 6.5mm, 2 12 guages (1 double barrelled, 1 really old goose gun), .30-30 Winchester Model 94, 2 .22 single shots, 2 .22 repeaters, 1 .22 single shot German training rifle......
I think that's all of them... I might be missing 1 or 2.
