He is admin on forum he sees the ip addresses of the members and guests ;)

yes, i know that, but i wouldn't think they would come to the forums, i think he got it from ingame.

Well he runs the server i bet he can check the ips of them from his house don't you acedeal ?

I got that IP from the forums.. Little PHP script that track's every Ip that hit's the forums :)..

I also can tell every IP that hit's my website and from where they came from.. ie if they clicked a link from AA or OC, etc..
It's called security.......

I have seen a couple people who joined the forum and thought that made them DoW. This guy (262 -=DoW=-jeromekeating) didn't even give an email address. He may have an application with SGM Padgett.

I ran into a guy named skatana on one of our servers. He played for a while and then left. When he showed back up, (about 1/2 hr later), he had a DoW tag. I tried to find his name on the web site, but without results. Maybe someone just hasn't added it yet. Could you investigate for me?

ok, today at about 5:30 i ban =DoW=-_Drenos from DoW II he asked me to asked recon63 because he said the recon knew he was DoW but recon didn't know him, then i ban him and later he was on DoW I and told me to ask basepin about him however i was using mavric as my voice on TS and mavric when off to play with his kid so i just kicked him from there. i told him to come post in the forums about it but i don't think i see a post so far. But i think he is a poser after all, and acedeal, im just checking but do you keep the website structere up-t-date and do you also keep the DoW-Member in the forums up-to-date?

well, im gonna add him to the banlist.

I was there for the end of that conversation. which happened after I had banned him from both servers. with the f12 console.

-=DoW=- Skatana turned out to be our very own -=DoW=- Kriticos. and he had the pleasure of arguing his case about 30 minutes after dealing with drenos, so I was real receptive. :shock:

So, is Kritios the Same person as Skatana? And who was this arguement with and where? On the servers or in chat.

No argument on server, he made his case and got kicked. he then contacted me on IM, where we resolved the problem, he's cool. It was short because I remembered the post above and was already geared for him.

I think we pretty much stopped using the USGA ban list, as that server is always down, to slow, etc.etc..

Also, mine is more up-to-date then the USGA ban list, also, mav should just make a link back to this ban list, just for the simple fact, that -=DoW=- is never down and is faster .. OC96 vs whatever his connection is.

He followed my requests to remove the binds if he wanted to continue to play here (DoW servers). He said he was fixing a jam, and hit the wrong key, thats when i asked him to remove the binds. I can believe that. I asked Acedeal about his unbanning situation, and it checked out. He was very polite, followed instructions, i say keep him. As for warned repeatedly about other infractions, i have no idea.

I will say this though, i did warn him his next infraction is a ban, so if he says so much as wtf, he is gone.

If i am being too lenient on some of these situations, please let me know as i will shoot first and ask questions later, or kill 'em all and let Ace sort 'em out. :)

As you all know I stand behind my admins 100%. If an admin that banned someone want's to unbann them, then that's your call. If you do not want to un-bann someone, that is also your call.

I have on only 1 or 2 occasions vetoed the admin decision and un-banned someone due to a mistake etc..etc..

I was refering to prior issues but as those have been cleared or atleast put in a state of probation I am fine with it.

Make no mistake he screws around while I'm on he goes down in a heap, and I would assume all ADMINs are in agreement there.

Jeromekeating was on your bridge server just 2 days ago. I mistook him for a real .=DoW=. also (probably because I did not check your roster). That was April 6th around 3:30 PM Eastern Time USA. If I see him there again I will e-mail admin immediately.

Will do for sure. I have has several run-ins with him but never thought twice about it. This is the first time Ive have an account on your forum. Now I know what the deal is. Will IM or post or both if seen again.
