There are many of us who play a lot of non-sniper maps, if that's what you're looking for.

Someone Please show me where it's Ok to join another "Non-Competing" Clan.

Everyone here is aware that -=DoW=- is in the process of expanding to other games.

So what exactly is a "non-competing clan"..??

Being in -=DoW=- does not mean that you can't play other games than AA:O. In fact, you could probably be in another clan that plays other games, and no one here would be the wiser. But that would show a lack of commitment towards -=DoW=-. And that's a NO NO. Also, why join another clan, when you can just work on pulling -=DoW=- into whatever game you're interested in.

Also, I'm not exactly sure what "non-competing clan" is.

Well to me that would be,
Everquest, Dark Ages of Camalot, something that no one but big companies ie- Sony, Variant, etc that have the resources to set up a server.

What happens now, if your in another clan and X clan has Y game. -=DoW=- expands to Y game.
You are now in conflict. Do you not say anything (lie)? Do we make exception for you? Do we change the rules?

I think the answer is DoW is for Dow members only! Period! You can play with other
clans and other servers as I have, but to join another clan would diminish your time and contributions to DoW. Ask yourself why did I elect to join DoW? If the reasons have changed, perhaps it's the time to move on. It's like being in the Marines and joining the Army, Ha, you could drink with them, but can you join?
Court Martial offense I believe. Maybe we should invoke court martial proceedings?
I would sentence a liar to <F^S> for the rest of their natural life and then some.

Well, not exactly a clan per se. I don't see DoW become a virtual airline in the flight sim community anytime soon.

Not exactly being in the Army and Marines at the same time, like two full time commitments, but it's like working with two a part-time jobs. The two groups don't automatically have to be related in any way.

Clans don't always refer to fighting games, I just wanna fly around a bit with another group instead of sniping everyone down. Know what I mean?

If it's a game that we are going to venture into, then I would think twice about it :)
ie some FPS thats simple to host.. never know who -=DoW=- knows or what they find out LOL

Stay tuned. I think Father_Time and the BCG (Battalion Command) is coming up with a few new rules on this issue. This issue seems to pop-up about every 6 months or so.
