Any body got good info about GeForce ti ?

i am probably going to buy a geforce4 ti but not sure yet which the 4200 and 4800 doesn't have a big differense something like 50 -35 $ anybody knows if 4800 or 4200 got problems ? ? ? i need info on them please if you know anything post here ;) and don't recomend anything not going to buy an ATI or anything my favorite is geforce and going to stay that ;)

The gainward 64mb ti4200 is very cheap and is teh fastest ti4200 out there... out perfroms the 128 ti4200

That my advice, or you could wait for GeForce FX to be released and then buy the ti4200 at a cheapoer price!

nhaa if i buy a ti it will be only with 128 MB my father don't wanna buy 64 MB, i don't know when my father want to buy the card exectly so maybe it will wait till the new to be out and get the ti 4200 in lower price.

I am using the Geforce4 Ti 4200 from Leadteck 128 Mb.
And mine is running very good no problems what so ever.

I am running XP Professional and after the install of the new version of AA
the programm AA system info reads DX Not op to Date Then i press FIX it and download DX 9 install and still its reads that i have DX 8.1 installed but i have Dx 9 Thats wat it says in my DX Diag. I Dont know where this problem is comming from.

well as far as i remember the program doesn't support direct x 9 because when i had 9 and aa ver 1.5 it said not up to date but the game worked it just doesn't see the direct x as it is but the game will work fine. same in ver 1.6

seems like i am going to buy a ti 4200 leadtek because checked the price here in israel 200$ with 128 MB. and if you say no problem so ;)

To kill that message you need to edit MinSysReq.txt (C:\Program Files\Army Operations\SystemInfoAAO) replace these 2 lines:

DirectX 8.1
ddraw.dll ???????????? ??????????????

with:

DirectX 9
ddraw.dll 4.09.0000.0900 5.03.0000.0900
