I'm trying to setup a server for friendly play. But am running into snags with my router. I currently need to get support from the manufacturer(compex), to get access to my firewall. And then I need to open ports, which ports I dunno. ANY help would be very helpful. My brother [HWY] doordie who thinks I'm stupid for using a router and not just blowing my cable modem by running two computers on the two different connections on the modem(one usb and one ethernet), said that I can't run a server behind a firewall. SO I am clueless as to whether or not I can.

well I got into my port forwarding section and was able to open port range of 1716-1717, but nothing else
-EDIT-
I got my server authorized, but only one of the many ip's. It also does not appear on the server list. So if I have it running I will let you know. As of now I am only able to run it on this pc. I finally got a job, so soon I should have my own pc to admin/play from. When I do have it running I will also be on the IRC channel and TS channel. And will give admin password to those I deem worthy
