Yes The time is almost here. I can put EQ away and go to work on SWG. So if you all lose me at somepoint. I've not left. Just working the hyperlanes lookin fer work. I bought EQ to prepare me for SWG. Anyone else going to join me there?

I cannot believe there is a new Star Wars game out there that I was so wrapped up in AA not to notice...I shall do a bit of homework and try to find out about this game but I have been somewhat of a Star Wars fanatic since I viewed Star Wars in the theater in 1977. Yes I am that old. :oops:

I have tried out the old Tie Fighter game and love the physics, graphics and the sound effects. Then came Star Wars: Jedi Knight...mixed feelings on this one cool but also with lots of bugs. Then Star Wars: Force [explicative] Commander. Then I stopped looking at Star Wars games.

I would love to find a great SW game to spark my interest.

To be honest there are now 2 games that I have played that made me nauseus meaning really physically sick. The first was the playstation version of the original Metal of Honor. I tried very hard to finish the game as I loved the scenarios but really had to lie down and not play or I would have hurled. The next one was Jedi Knight. Again I loved using the Blaster and shoot stormtroopers but I got nauseus again. I hope that Jedi Knight II does not use the same game engine as the first one I have read a number of reviews on this and it seems great. Especially with all the new force powers.

I am going to try and get the beta for Galaxies again now... :banger:

WEll from a buddy who has been a beta tester for SWG since alpha: It's has ALOt of potential.. but by no means is it anywhere near EQ or DAOC. It will take alot of work still with all the bugs and gameplay.

BUt all in all... I think i'm done with these types of games... They have taken up tooooooo much of my personall life. I'll be sticking with AA.

I put EQ on just to prepare for SWG. I'm not leaving AA. It's my total carnage fix when I"m in a bad mood after work. Headphones and watching bodies topple. My Guild in EQ is very happy. While sad to see me go. I know they are looking forward to getting all the gear me char's have, lol. As well as the cash. If SWG sucks. I'll reactivate EQ and rebuild my char with the knowledge I learned from playing it. hehe

They just sent out SWG Beta 3 so with only a few days left to go? then its a bit strange, unless Beta 3 is very close to the finished product!

Well a little news for ya'll waiting on SWG. I got to play Beta 3 this weekend. and i have to say....... WOW. I watched the dev of the game since Beta 1. and i have to say they have really done alot in beta 3. alot of changes and and gameplay is better than any other game i have played. The detail thay have put into chars is unreal. I have to say i may have to go buy it now. They haven't implemented alot of what they said they were going to and decided on making what was left out as expansions.

On a side note: There is a guild called Dogs Of War on the server :shock: There imperials and i kill them all the time :twisted:


On annother side not: I love that anime :o I own the dvds and i know a guy on the server is named Vashthestamped so go with Wolfwood if you where going to name your self that :)
