Hey I just got another 512 MB Ram chip for my PC, its a 333 mhz speed and kingston $120 I pulled out the 128 mb in my pc and inserted the 512 along side my other 512 MB chip, and rebooted no errors nothing saw there was more ram, so now I have instead of 630+ Ram I have 1020+ Ram but it doesnt make any difference if not slower, Was wondering the 2 RAM sets are from different company's, one kingston and one azon will this make a difference? Much obliged

It shouldnt make any problems. If they were already incompatible with each other, you would have known by now.

The thing that a lot of people get mixed up, is that RAM doesnt quicken the overall speed of your PC, but the switching of programs or other applications. It is something that you may never notice yourself, but Windows thanks you for it.

I hope that helped a little bit.

BTW - In German RAM is called "arbeitsspeicher" - translated - memory used for WORKING

It can make a difference if the timings aren't the same. For instance I just got some Mushkin ram but it's running slower than rated because it slowed down to match my older ram.

Also if you search you may find that your motherboard doesn't "like" some brands of ram ..... had a Gigabyte board that didn't like kingston and a ASUS that didn't like Mushkin .... if I used those brands anyway it would slow down the computer even more.

ASUS doesn't like Mushkin?? Well that explains why I can't get my Mushkin to run at it's rated speed.
