I really enjoyed this game. The duel wielding system is very fun. Not just for the cool factor, but you can be a much better killing machine. Plasma weapons are best for shields, bullets for regular flesh. So you keep one of each in your hands and suddenly guys go down like three times as fast.

But I have one irk. The new battle rifle. It only has a three round burst rate of fire. And there is a slight delay between shots. Now, I can understand 1 rate of fire. But the delay turns a potentially strong weapon into something much less appealling. Still you would be pleasantly surprised at its capabilities. I would always keep it on hand if it could hold more extra ammunition. 36 rounds per clip, 108 extra rounds on hand. thats 4 clips total... um... I personally would want more ammo if I was fighting an army.

If you use it, just pump shots into the head. And conserve ammo.

Okay time to eat... yeah great reviews huh? My head is like fuzzy today. Its odd.

I played it friday, its an awesome game - 4 vs 4 on two TVs. Really fun, good graphics, and smooth play - im still getting use to the xbox controls.

I dont like the 3 round burst, I got very accurate with the full auto. And the smgs are wicked at cqb but not good at long range so your screwed if someone has a sniper and you only have smgs. your even screwed with the battle rifle against a sniper sometimes. they must have a AAO dev on the team :lol:

played again yesterday, yeah the battle rifle sucks, pistol was better in halo 1, but yeah - amazing game.

Tried it on legendary? Battle Rifle is essential. SO difficult.

You need to keep it long range. Also I could manhandle guys in multiplayer from headshots.
