Does anyone know how reliable FIXMBR is, when it comes to *not* screwing up the disk partitions? Is it just like using FDISK /MBR in the DOS/Windows 9x Operating Systems? I don't remember having a problem ever using that function of FDISK, but since FIXMBR makes a point of putting up a warning before you let it run, I'm somewhat concerned about using it. So, I'm just wondering if anyone out here has any experience with that program, and can offer any advice.
