Please help, this is annoying:
Everytime I come to the forum and click on a link for a new post, they are
all marked as read and I am forced to go by the post date instead.
While in some cases this wouldn't really be a problem, but look how big the forum has gotten!
I don't know if it is user error, but please help! :icon_dro:

What i ilke to do Pygmie is hit the View Post since last visit. The i read the post, and then hit back, and go on to the next. Even if it marks them all read, the list should stay the same. If not, do the View Post since Last visit, and right click each one and open in new window.

Here is the proper way..Works 100% all the time for me..
I logon, View post since last visit.
Read one. Hit back button,
read the next new one
Hit back
etc
etc
Then I log off.........This updates your cookies.
Then you can do a log on again, and there wil be no new posts..
The thing is, you need to be using the log-off / log on feature.. That's why it's there. IF you just leave it log-on, and the system auto-logs you off, then you may not get the right "view new posts" the next ime you log on.
edit]
If I apply to a post, when I am done with the reply and hit the submit, I go to the top menu, hit forum index, then the view new post since last vist.
............
The way I do it, I seldom ever miss any new posts. Once caught up on the posts, I just use the log-out / log on..

My problem is with Internet Explorer evidentally. I installed Mozilla (haven't used it in some time) and now I don't have to worry about this mess anymore. Browsing the forum is carefree once more.
Thanks Mozilla! :biig_gri:
