Bandwidth question

I've been searching but couldn't find the answer to the question:
How many bandwidth(uplink) do I need to run a server per player?
At the moment i'm hooked up to the internet with ADSL 768/128.

Best way to do it is trial and error. start with 8 or 10, then bump it up till it lags. Dont forget though, you need to leave room for an admin or two. So if it starts lagging at 12, drop it to 10, so we have room for admins.

that 128 up is really holding you back, you would only be able to get about 6 in there and that is pushing it. i have 1.5MB down/ 180 KB up and i can do 8 with a little lag.

thnx for your input jUstiN, i will try to get a 6 person server just for trying and practice. :)
