Well I have finally started to make my way cross-country to Eglin AFB, FL. Can you guess where I am currently at? Each day I will give a new clue to my current stop and reveal my previous stop. Since I am already 2 days into my trip I will give 2 clues for the first 2 stops.

1. 13Apr. I started off leaving Beale AFB, CA in Northern California. I stopped in Palmdale, CA in Southern California for about two weeks for visits with family, etc. I have now left Palmdale and got on Interstate 40 eastbound. I took I-40 to my first stop, a resort mountain city in Northern Arizona. Where am I?

2. 14Apr. I have left Arizona and entered New Mexico. I went through the capital of NW but didn't go too much further. I am about 150 miles from the Texas border. Where am I?

Well i'll say one thing. The military only allows you to drive for 8 hrs a day. well maybe thats only if your driving a miliraty car.. don't remember.

Ft. Sumner is about 130 miles from the Texas border and is on State Route 60. You never did state you left I-40.

3. 15 Apr. I continued eastbound on I-40 exiting New Mexico and traveling through the panhandle of Texas. I entered the home of the Sooners, but I stopped well short of the capital city. The name of the small city I am in starts with an animal you can hunt.

1. Flagstaff, AZ
2. Moriarty, NM

Good try Lago and Gungjuilio, Santa Rosa is about an hour further east than Moriarty. I am allowed 7 travel days to get from Beale AFB, CA to Eglin AFB, FL.

OK, I'm now almost to Florida. I wasn't able to get on the internet last night because the stupid hotel I was at made me dial an 8 to make a 1-800 call. Windows won't let you dial an 8 first for an outside line only an 9.

4. 16 Apr. I continued on I-40 eastbound to The Natural State. I stopped in town with the same name as an actor who played in the movie The Gladiator and A Beautiful Mind. I am about 85 miles west of the capital city of the state I'm in.

Answer: Elk City, OK

5. 17 Apr. I once again went eastbound on I-40 to the home of "The King", Graceland. I then headed southeast stopping in the birthplace of "The King".
