Figured out everything except how to get into room 5 and finding the middle scrap of paper.

Not sure what order you are talking about. Have tried every one that I can think of.

I follwed the symbols backwards and cant get the last door in the kitchen to unlock. I've got all teh cards and clues except the middle piece of the paper.

To be honest it didn't work for me either. I put them in the cube in the order I opened them and nothing happened. I had to look up the solution. It was not the order I went thru them. I know because I started from scratch and wrote them down as I went.
