What ports do I need to have open to run my server ?

For a single LAN server you will need the following ports open.

UDP 1716 for game
UDP 1717 for game query

If your going to be Public then you need these additional open.

UDP 1718 for master server query
UDP 8777 for standard UT query
UDP 27900 for Gamespy
TCP 20045 for Auth server

I will also throw this one on in, you need to get your IP authroized but going to www.americasarmy.com/register.php and make a server account, after you make that account go to www.whatismyip.com (if you don't know your IP) and add it to the list.

I believe you only need to get you IP authroized if you are runnin a public server, not for a LAN game. If you have a dynamic IP you will need to get it re-authroized everytime you dissconnect from the internet (sux don't it?)

An AGA will authroize you IP within an hour normally, but if you wanna get it authroized right away go to www.americasarmy.com/support.php and open up the same AGA cheater reporting system, there is a link on there for "server autheration" click there and just tell the admin "my IP is 12.345.678.90" and they will get it done right away if all ports are open.

NOTE: ports need to be open on all firewalls and routers. Might wanna have a friend try to ping it, give them you IP and have them open "command promp" and they can type "ping 12.345.678.90"
